Get to know our culinary educator:

Chef Kevin Fonzo, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde park, New York. He was the past chef/owner of K Restaurant and Nonna restaurant in the heart of Collage Park. His love for cooking and community became apparent in his work as co-founders of Edible Education Experience. He brings his expertise to the Kitchen House as a James Beard Award nominee “Best Chef- South” and an alumni of the James Beard Boot Camps.

Chef Kevin has several notable accolades from Southern Living, Atlanta Magazine, Bon Appetite, Food & Wine publications as well as appearances on CNN and numerous day-time shows. Kevin’s passion for the culinary arts led him to participate in Chefs Move to Schools, educating students of all ages. His accomplishments in the school systems were recognized in his involvement at the White House for the school lunch program initiative and Children Nutrition Act.

Currently, Chef Kevin works as the company chef and lead tour guide for Art In Voyage, a luxury travel company based in Cape Town, South Africa. When Chef Kevin is not over seas, he enjoys spending time at Edible Education Experience volunteering at student programs.
