Volunteer

We’re so grateful that you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Edible Education Experience (EEE). Volunteers play an important role in what we do—we simply cannot offer our impactful programs at our high standard of quality without you. Volunteering at EEE allows you to make a direct impact on the quality of life of your fellow community members while advancing our mission to connect people with the joys and wellness benefits of embracing sustainable, whole foods. Your efforts will bring a sense of personal fulfillment you will find hard to beat.

**Please note that we are currently only accepting volunteers who are 18+ years old.

As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be a spokesperson for our mission & vision

  • Meet inspiring food professionals and learn everything they teach our students

  • Share your knowledge, wisdom, and experience with others

  • Enjoy the pleasures that come with helping those in need

Volunteer responsibilities include:

  • Guiding participants through collaborative cooking, with an emphasis on encouraging autonomy, critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork

  • Supporting staff by setting up, transitioning, and breaking down educational spaces

  • Cleaning up after programs, including busing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, folding laundry, and sweeping and mopping floors

  • Do you have additional skills and experience you want to offer to support EEE? We’d love your help with

    • Marketing

    • Fundraising

    • Photography/Videography

    • Professional skills

Group Volunteers

Volunteering as a small group (15 or less) can be a meaningful way to organize a team bonding experience at the Kitchen House & Garden.

Garden Volunteers

Once a week, volunteers are invited to work alongside our Garden Manager to care for the plants growing in the Culinary Garden. If spending time in nature is an ideal part of your day, this opportunity is for you.
