Volunteering allows you to make a direct impact on the quality of life of your fellow community members while advancing our mission to connect people with the joys and wellness benefits of embracing sustainable, whole foods. Your efforts will bring a sense of personal fulfillment you will find hard to beat.
Please note that we are currently only accepting volunteers who are 18+ years old.
As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to:

Meet inspiring food professionals and learn everything they teach our students
Share your knowledge, wisdom, and experience with others
Enjoy the pleasures that come with helping those in need
Volunteer responsibilities include:
Guiding participants through collaborative cooking, with an emphasis on encouraging autonomy, critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork
Supporting staff by setting up, transitioning, and breaking down educational spaces
Cleaning up after programs, including busing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, folding laundry, and sweeping and mopping floors

We offer opportunities for individuals to volunteers to support our culinary education programs for youth and adults. If spending time in nature is an ideal part of your idea, we invite you to work alongside our Garden Manager in the culinary garden. Please apply today and our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you about meeting in person at the Kitchen House & Garden.
