Seed to Snack Summer Camp

  • Edible Education Experience 26 East King Street Orlando, FL, 32804 United States (map)

At Seed to Snack Summer Camp kids will dig into the basics of growing their own food—from planting veggie seeds to caring for herbs. Each day is packed with hands-on garden time and tasty cooking fun, like pickling, whipping up salad dressings, and making yummy spreads. Everyone goes home with their own mini garden, plus all the plants and supplies they’ll need to keep it growing. Come get your hands dirty and your taste buds happy!

Dig in and Grow

Dates: This camp runs from June 9th-13th from 9am-1:30pm.

Lunch: Campers should bring their own lunch water bottle each day. We’ll take a midday break to eat indoors and recharge before getting back to gardening and cooking fun.

Ages: This camp is open to rising 3rd–5th graders. If your attending child has a sibling outside of that age range who is also interested in attending, please email Caitlyn at growyoursoulgarden@gmail.com to join the waitlist.

Price: This camp is $300/student.

Meet your educator, Caitlyn Glatting

Caitlyn believes that a garden is more than just a place to grow food, it’s a classroom, a playground, and a powerful tool for teaching the next generation where their food comes from. She founded Grow Your Soul to help schools, families, and communities reconnect with food through hands-on gardening experiences. What started as a personal love for growing food became a mission to empower young people with the skills and confidence to cultivate their own. Caitlyn knows that when children get their hands in the soil, they’re not just learning how to grow vegetables—they’re learning patience, responsibility, and a lifelong appreciation for the environment.

This program is offered by Grow Your Soul, an edible gardening business dedicated to empowering individuals and families to cultivate their green thumbs and connect with nature through hands-on gardening experiences. Sign up on their site.

This program is offered at Edible Education Experience, located at 26 E King St Orlando FL 32804.
