Meet Your Educator, Charlie Straker
Charlie’s culinary journey began at Le Cordon Bleu, where he earned a diploma in culinary arts. After sharpening his skills in some of Orlando’s beloved kitchens, including The Capital Grille, Yellow Dog Eats, and The Osprey, he found a new creative outlet behind the bar.
Today, he brings a creative spirit and a deep curiosity for transforming ingredients in unexpected ways to The Guesthouse and Sunroom—two of Orlando’s favorite neighborhood spots. With a foot in both the culinary and cocktail worlds, Charlie continues to blur the lines between kitchen and bar—driven by innovation, guided by taste, and inspired by the endless possibilities of flavor.
