Ignite curiosity and creativity this summer with our immersive education experiences that bring the magic of the garden and kitchen to life! Students dive into hands-on projects inspired by nature, exploring how food, art, and science connect in unexpected ways. Each week is elevated by guest instructors, including Orlando’s talented chefs, farmers, and food artisans, who bring fresh perspectives and unique expertise. From working with plants to crafting edible creations, every day offers new adventures designed to inspire young minds and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

Summer Camps

Let your child fall in love with food this summer over the course of one magical week in the garden and kitchen. Learn from diverse experts from the Orlando food scene. Taste new fresh flavors and develop the confidence of an adventurous eater. Work together with new friends to discover how food brings us together.

Meet Our Culinary Educator, Sarah Bousfield

Sarah Bousfield first learned how to bake on a 1882 wood burning stove at her local living history museum while working as a historical interpreter. Over the past 12 years she has travelled the world cooking at archaeological sites and museums, bringing to life prehistoric and historic recipes. Sarah is a current MA Public History graduate student at the University of Central Florida where she continues her love of foodways through research on the Industrial Revolution and its impacts on kitchen technology.
