Job Title:  Business Coordinator (Part-Time or Contract)

Job Purpose:

The purpose of Edible Education Experience’s (EEE) Business Coordinator is to handle all internal bookkeeping, invoicing, and to assist the Executive Director (ED) in the daily operations and administration of the nonprofit. 

Job Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and confirm accuracy of all outgoing invoices, to be approved by ED.

  • Prepare and distribute payment for all incoming invoices, upon approval by ED.

  • Run financial reports from Quickbooks Online, monthly and as needed.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and make deposits.

  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

  • Reconcile transactions through e-commerce site and Quickbooks.

  • Assist in ensuring all policies & procedures are adhered to, including timely receipt submission.

  • Responsible for data entry into accounting system and cross reference with donor database.

  • Ensure timely renewal of all business licenses and associated payments.

  • Prepare and process biweekly payroll.

  • Assist with HR compliance.

  • Process incoming mail and keep all files organized.

  • Assist ED with Board of Directors meetings, including preparation and taking of minutes.

  • Assist in maintaining master calendar.

  • Maintain all administrative office supplies.

  • Generate donor acknowledgement letters.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of business or accounting experience.

  • Quickbooks Online experience and an understanding of the Google suite.

  • Ability to provide own laptop and have adaptability to work in a flexible workspace.

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, computer, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to conduct oneself professionally, maintaining confidence and confidentiality, as well as integrity and objectivity.

  • Ability to provide constructive and respectful feedback that is encouraging and effective.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, nonprofit management, or other related field. (preferred)

  • Office management experience. (preferred)

Compensation:

Contract or $16/hour (20 hours per week)
